The web show great information. If you guys wanted to find out more about biographies, maps, narrative. This would help you:

Wattle - some of the photos on this site (http://storiesofusa.com/american-indian-wars-1622-1890/) are fine as primary source documents, but the site overall is not a reliable source of information. When was the last time it was updated? Contact info is just an email address, not a physical address, and the information is fairly limited. Keep searching.

ReplyDeleteI found that, it's pretty helpful if you're doing about a slave's life like I am. (Nottttt entirely helpful, but you get this idea) I find it pretty reliable (I COULD BE WRONG) so, definitely check that out as a starting point, (STARTING point)if you're a slave for your journal.

That cite, it's not entirely reliable, it's kind of like a search engine for civil war only. So you go there, find a website that seems reliable, and then start out with that. I don't know how to explain it, but starting point, sure. (I still don't think it's entirely reliable....but I'll just let you guys be the judge)
Anh, the first is most definitely a credible source of information. And as you said, the second one is a great resource to use as a search engine. For example, I found this: http://www.civilwarphotogallery.com/
ReplyDeleteGreat find!
